This is one of our favourite places to go to. You can get parmas of any kind, from the classic to others like The Mexican (think sour cream, jalapenos, guacamole) and the Paramgeddon if you're up for a bit of spice. Another plus - the beers! Craft beer featuring Victorian brewers - you can't get more local than that! This place is always buzzing - so recommend making a booking in advance if you can!

Hands down favourite ramen shop in Melbourne. Expect long queues, but it's worth it for a taste of Japan!

Essentials

QV has pretty much everything - from cafes, restaurants and food courts to supermarkets, liquor store, pharmacy, dry cleaners and gym. For groceries and household items head to Woolworths and BigW on the basement level, and Laguna Oriental Supermarket on Level 1 (Jane Bell Lane) for Asian food items. For food, there's Grill'd Burger, Hanaichi (Japanese on a budget), Shophouse Kitchen (Chinese on a budget), popular Malaysian restaurant PappaRich and for something a little fancier Red Spice Road. If you're after a coffee or something sweet - Plantation Coffee is ubiquitously Melbournian, there's bubble tea at Cha Time and Gong Cha, chocolate everything at Max Brenner, and the newly opened Aqua S for show-stopping ice-cream (think ice cream wrapped in fairy floss).
