One of the few waterfront restaurants on the island. Weather permitting sit on the deck overlooking the Golden Isles Marina and the Saint Simons Sound. The food is exceptionally good and they frequently have live music.

Jekyll Island is a nearby island that is a state park. LOTS of history, tours and the famous Turtle Center - this is something that you don't want to miss.

This lighthouse still guides ships into St. Simons Sound. Walk to the top for a bird's eye view of the island, visit the museum store (really good bargains) and see what is happening at the Coastal Georgia Historical Society.
If you hear 3 short blasts of a fog horn that is a ship's traditional salute as it passes the lighthouse
