Maria's recommendations! Make the best of your time in Madrid!

here are my foodie and others recommendations! - Lunch: cocido madrileño (It is a really heavy meal, so better dont have breakfast or a light one! •Restaurante La Bola, Malacatin or Llhardy (his last one a Little bit more expensive) --> reservation needed - Lunch or dinner: •Most typical and tourist spanish one: Casa Lucío •Spanish but informal and for Spanish people: o Cheap: Lateral, Makkila (there are several around the city --> no reservation needed o Cooler with normal price: Perrachica, Marieta. - Dinner o Super cool with after music and drinks (00.00h) really trendy right now (normal cost): Pointer o Panthera --> reservation needed o Platea: it is like a mall but coosy and they offer spectacles during meals… you can choose inside 5 restaurants! Really nice to see even if you don’t consume anything! o Dinner High quality (expensive): Bibbo Madrid, Ten con Ten, Amazonico (they are super cool with delicious / gourmet food) - Brunch • Saturdays: Donde Monica or Panela & Co: If it is Saturday you need reservation • Sundays: Café Central  reservation needed All restaurants mentioned before offer brunch and all are also cool! Finally I recommend you to take the most famous breakfast /petit dejeuner called “churros” in San Gines (the oldest and famous one in the historic center) Also go up to the Gourment Experience in El Corte Ingles (mall) of Gran Via (historic center) you will get there a nice view of the famous sight of Madrid In the Retiro Park also go to La Florida Park if you have chance, they have live flamenco music on afternoon and its really nice ambience with the nice weather!
