Hey listen, I know pizza is not a typical Bulgarian dish but that's still one of my favourite foods.
To me Franco's Pizza gets as close to a decent Italian pizza as possible in Easter Europe and I would absolutely recommend them.
If you'd like to see what they have to offer it's best you make a reservation in advance. If not - they offer takeaway. Hooray!

I would recommend you sit inside, since the outside is a smoking area and it often gets too noisy and busy.

This fairly new, fast-food/ casual restaurant offers delicious food.
In my opinion the service is a bit hit and miss but if you are a hummus fen the place is well worth a visit.

Free Sofia Tour is approximately 2-hour long walking tour in central Sofia. It takes you to some of the most famous local sights and is both fun and educational. Best thing is it starts a few times a day, every day of the week and it does not require you to book in advance.

The building where it is hosted at is quite impressive both on the outside and on the inside. That is the former Central Mineral Bathhouse, built in 1912.
It's open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00AM to 6:00PM. Ticket is 8 BGN

I love the Zoo and I have loved going there since I was little.
While I agree that there are arguments against zoos in general, fact is we have a zoo that is a long way from being as good or well maintained as many others in Europe.
And I believe that it's in the animals best interest that our zoo gets as much support from the public as possible.
So if you have a couple of hours to kill, why not stop by.
