Sightseeing
A visit to the Aspen area wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the iconic Maroon Bells. The twin summits of these 14,000 ft peaks are beauitful with their striated red rock and snow patches throughout the year.
The mountains are framed in a high alpine valley full of aspen trees and wildflowers sitting behind a tranquil lake. The view is great, and there are a few easy hiking trails to further enjoy the area. Be on the lookout for deer, marmots, pika, and porcupines.

Hanging Lake is a beautiful gem tucked high in Glenwood Canyon. Hike a short (but steep) 1.5 miles to a crystal clear aqua blue pond filled by a drippy and dreamy waterfall. Go the last/extra 100 yards to Spouting Rock - and higher and more impressive waterfall that comes straight out of the rock.
