FOOD SCENE
Here are some of our recommendations while on island. If you want a view or are looking for good food and great atmosphere, we have narrowed down some of the best places to enjoy your night.
Red Hook has several Bars and Restaurants. Some of our favorite places to visit include:
Island Time Pub: located at the American Yacht Harbour. This bar and grill has live music and good food. Looks out over the marina.
The Tap and Still: This has a great Happy Hour from 3-6. $3.00 drinks. They also are known for having great burgers and wings. Very reasonably priced.
Lattes In Paradise: Great Breakfast joint and coffee spot.
Sunset Grille: American Food with a great view. A little past red hook area.
Pesce: Great Italian food and wine selection.**
XO Bistro: Amazing seafood and wine selection.**
**May want to set up a reservation, especially during high season.
Agave: Awesome mexican and margaritas.
Raw: Great fresh Sushi place.

Red Hook

This has a view of the Cruise Ships and islands. You may have seen this restaurant on HGTV.
This Restaurant is right on the ocean and has great views. Located right at Point Pleasant. I recommend Wyllas Mussels appetizer....simply amazing!

Sightseeing
Sapphire Beach is located right outside our condo. There is a ocean side pool as well as a large beach and Beach Bar right on site. There is swim and dive shop to rent ocean equipment and there is free beach chairs to guests staying at Sapphire Beach. There is also a great Breakfast and latte place, Beach Buzz, right on site. There are several comfortable spots to lounge and relax right there on the beach just steps away from our condo.
The beach bar is known for their "Pain Killer" drinks as well as live entertainment throughout the day. They serve great fish tacos, chicken sandwiches and burgers.

Sapphire Beach
Sapphire Beach is located right outside our condo. There is a ocean side pool as well as a large beach and Beach Bar right on site. There is swim and dive shop to rent ocean equipment and there is free beach chairs to guests staying at Sapphire Beach. There is also a great Breakfast and latte place, Beach Buzz, right on site. There are several comfortable spots to lounge and relax right there on the beach just steps away from our condo.

The Sapphire Beach Marina is right outside your balcony. You can enjoy views of the marina and St. John right from your private balcony. The marina has several boats that offer charters to St. John and the BVIs. Some of the boats we would recommend:
St. Thomas Boat Rental 1-813-465-2665: They allow you rent the boat for the day and you can go wherever you would like for the entire day. They go to St. John, BVI's, Water Island, Buck Island. It is $800 for the day and includes the fuel and captain. It is $75 for customs. You can have several people join you and that will cut your fees down.
Virgin Island Boat Tours 1-340-344-1190: They offer a sunset cruise for $40 and a snorkeling cruise for $85. They are right in the marina. They also offer other tours but do not take you to the baths. They will go to Christmas Cove (Pizza Pi boat), Buck Island, Water Island. They charge $75 for customs as well and you can rent the boat for the day as well.

Sapphire Beach Condominium Resort

We love Magens Bay. This is a Beach to visit while in St. Thomas. There is a beach bar and a rental shop right on the beach. The views are stunning. Magens Bay is rated one of the top beaches in the world. It is about a 10-15 minute drive and there is a cost to get in. ($5.00 per person, plus $2.00 parking per car)

We love Magens Bay. This is a Beach to visit while in St. Thomas. There is a beach bar and a rental shop right on the beach. The views are stunning. Magens Bay is rated one of the top beaches in the world. It is about a 10-15 minute drive and there is a cost to get in. ($5.00 per person, plus $2.00 parking per car)

Secret Harbor Beach
This Beach is a little past Red Hook only 10-15 minutes away. It is a little hidden gem. We love to go there to snorkel as a family. It is perfect for little ones to put on swim goggles and see lots of tropical fish without the risk of being knocked over by waves. We like to think of it as our real life aquarium.
Lindquist Beach is located right next to Sapphire. This is a very private beach. It does cost money to enter but has very few people. You can bring the beach chairs provided from the room to the beach to relax.
