Stretch your legs in the center of the Green Lake neighborhood on the 3-mile track around the lake, perfect for runners, bikers, and strollers. You will find coffee shops and restaurants along the way. During the summer you can rent kayaks and cruise around the lake or cool off in the water.

Fremont is a fun and quirky place to explore with a great food scene, local shopping, and unique landmarks. Not to be missed are the Fremont Troll, waterfront trails (in front of Google campus) and Fremont Sunday Market. We recommend starting in upper Queen Anne to enjoy the restaurants and shopping and then making your way to Lower Queen Anne and Seattle Center. The roastery is impressive even if you are not a huge Starbucks fan. You can get a glimpse of how coffee is made and enjoy a gourmet coffee tasting with truffles. This is a great rainy day activity and is right in the heart of Capitol Hill, another great neighborhood to explore.
