Public transport options.
The Metro rapid transport system is the easiest way to get around Tyne and Wear.
The Metro station at Four Lane Ends is 1.6 mile, about 30 mins walk. or take a bus from Benton Lane West Moor.
Trains are regular and run to Newcastle, the Coast, Airport, Central Rail station and South of the River Tyne to Sunderland. There is also a connecting Ferry across the mouth of the Tyne river, that connects North Shields to South Shields.
A day ticket is the cheapest option.
