Arts & Culture
Visit the art gallery after a walk on the beach. There is a diversity of art and some excellent local artists. Housed in a Gothic mansion, worth a visit in its own right. Enjoy the cafe and if the weather is good, you can sit in the impressive gardens.
Afterwards take a stroll down the lane and have a meal at the beach bistro. Book well in advance for evenings, it is hard to get a table. The view from the terrace is outstanding.
You can also walk round the beach and there are steps up onto the headland, home of the Tin Man sculpture and some stunning views.

Porth Ceiriad is a tucked away cove. A dramatic beach with steep rock headland and unique surf. You have to walk in, so go prepared. If you know Cornwall, it is like Cornwall without the tourists. Wild and beautiful all year round.

Hell's Mouth or Porth Neigwl, its Welsh name, is a long sandy beach spanning the western most end of the Lleyn Peninsula. It is a surf beach, but be careful it has strong rips when the surf is up (swim parallel to the beach to escape them if you get caught; trying to swim back to the beach can be fruitless until you are out of the rip).
Go for a walk, or book a surfing lesson, if you have never done it before. Then finish off in Abersoch, for decent shopping, cafes and pubs. You can also book a sailing lesson from Abersoch.

Entertainment & Activities
Sara and Mark are whitewater kayakers, canoeists and whitewater raft guides. If you are looking for an adventurous whitewater raft trip, then you'll enjoy this one. It is a damn controlled mountain river, so you need to go when it is releasing but this does mean there are opportunities all year round.
