Laugarás Restaurant, a desent family restaurant and has been there for years and years. I have to admit I have never been there but I have heard good things about it.

Kjörbúðin is a grocery store just around the corner from the apartment. But it is a highly priced one, I recumbent going to Krónan, the one I listed earlier :)

The coast is just by the apartment and you can see it from the bedroom window. 5 min walk and you are there. You can take walk down to the little beach there (not to take a swim though) or walk downtown by the cost line.

Beautiful valley in a walking distance from the apartment for outdoor activities like walk, run, pik-nick or what ever you like. There is a historical site where women used to wash clothes in hot-springs there. You can also find a cozy coffee house if you walk further into the valley.
