Sightseeing
The approximate 100 ha reserve is home to various small game species including Springbuck, Zebra, Blesbok, Impala, Duiker, Bushbuck and Ostrich. Birdwatchers can enjoy the abundant birdlife. Flowing through the reserve is a tributary of the perennial Moreleta Spruit, which has its origins at Wingate Park Country Club.
Walking routes have been marked out, catering for everyone from the Sunday stroller to avid hikers. The routes vary in length from 1.5 to 3.6 km showcasing all that the reserve has to offer. Please note that no bikes or dogs are allowed in the park after Nature Conservation introduced game species.
The reserve is open daily from 06:00 to 18:00 and entry is free of charge.
