Are you brave enough to cross Carrick-a-rede rope bridge in nearby Ballintoy? The actual rope bridge is not for the faint-hearted, especially when it’s windy! But there are staff on hand to check wind speed and keep the public moving on the bridge. The walk from the car park to the bridge is about 1.5km and offers some stunning scenery! It can get very busy, pre-booking tickets online can save queuing time, as there is a separate queue for online bookings. There are queues getting onto the rope bridge, but this is more to control how many people are on the bridge and the little island. The overflow car park was used in a scene for Game of Thrones, so extra bonus if your a fan of this series.

This is an unusually large and relatively well-preserved medieval ruin that is well worth a several-hour visit and is in a beautiful coast edge location as many of the other sights along the northern The Causeway Coast. The castle is almost complete with all rooms and various building functions - even with a gangway to the castle's entrance! The North Sea's whipping water far below the cliff edge makes its way to give the place its exciting character. Learn about how the kitchen fell into the sea and a hand boy held on to save his life!! Try on medieval clothes!! Most importantly take in the breath taking views!!
