Children love the petting zoo and hand-feeding the friendly rainbow lorikeets. This is a great thing to do in Nassau with kids if you want a break from the beach.

The impressive collection includes paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and textiles from Bahamian artists, spanning the early 20th century to the present day.
Around 1793, slaves carved this 102-foot (31-meter) staircase, comprised of 65 steps, out of solid limestone. Later it was named in honor of Queen Victoria’s 65-year reign and her role in abolishing slavery in the Bahamas.

The estimated boat ride time is about 25 minutes which is attractive as you can spend more time having fun. Swimming pigs are part of their full day trip package from Nassau to Rose Island. The experience (which is totally optional) also includes snorkeling, lunch, and extra amenities.
