Love love love this place! About an hour away in Blue Ridge but a perfect day combines tubing at Toccoa Camp, a stroll and dinner in Blue Ridge and then the drive in! Our summers are never complete without a day like that!

Sosebee Bike Park is AMAZING! 20 minutes away. It is part of the 100 mile Beautiful Backroads Biking tour. Free and well marked country paved roads passing by farms and fields with very very little traffic. Easy to park and easy to follow maps and street paint symbols. 15,30,60 mile loops or just turn back if you get tired. Not super hilly. Made for road bikes but we have done many times on mountain bikes. You don’t have to be a super biker to do a short trip on this - this kids and grannies do fine! Wear a helmet.

This is our favorite hike in the area. Great for swimming in quarry at the midpoint of the trail. Fairly easy hike can be muddy with a lot of rain but safe. Bring a picnic! 2-3 hours round trip depending on how long you linger at the quarry. Don’t jump off the rocks - water is very clear and you can see sharp boulders all around the “cliff” area
