An outdoor cafe with a massive play area for children including a pump track and animals. Excellent menu, delicious coffee and cake and only a 15 minute walk. An ideal place to stop on route home if you have been walking/cycling/running in the Knysna forest.

World class course designed by Jack Nicklaus is just a few kilometres up the road from us. It also has a gym/pool and sauna that you can visit as a day guest for only about R200. The restaurant there is highly recommended. The views are of the whole of Knysna, the platters are excellent and very reasonable or sit and watch the sun set on an evening with a glass of wine.

Cycle or take a 4 wheel drive ideally along the Guona road at the top of Simola to see the vast forest right in front of you. Take some local help and mountain bike into the forest to come across Elephant dung and the possibility of even meeting one of the few wild elephants that roam in there. Or park up and hike one of the routes, permits available up there.
