Excellent thin crust pizza prepared the traditional Italian way in a brick oven, and well priced Meditaranian foods. It is always busy and they don't take reservations. Come right at 5 to avoid the line up. Daily specials.

Drinks & Nightlife
Amazing local watering hole, that has been in the neighbourhood for over thirty years under the same ownership. There is a pool table, jukebox, front and back patio, and occasional live music. Almost exclusively populated by locals, it has a very low key, neighbourhood vibe. Eva, the owner/night bartender is a legend. The food is also surprisingly good and cheap. I dare you to finish the nacho platter!

The local sport bar. Tons of draught beer. Multiple TV's with all of the live sports. Dart boards and games in the back. Daily special. Pub Grub. kitchen open late. Easy on the wallet.

High Park is the biggest public park in Toronto. It's like Toronto's Central Park. Lot's of trails, playgrounds, rivers, ponds, soccer and baseball areas, a swimming pool, a skating rink, a cafe restaurant with giant patio (great before 10 am breakfast specials) and even a zoo! Great for families. Once you are in it, you forget completely that you are in the biggest city in Canada. 5 minute walk from 234 Sunnyside.
