One of our favorite places to visit!! Great cider and good pizzas made on their wood fired outdoor ovens. But the thing we like best are the amazing views. We love just chilling on their outdoor patio overlooking the orchards, vines and the water. We try and visit when there's live music on the patio. Also has a tasting room and a store. This place is very popular.

We like to grab a glass of wine from the bar at the restaurant and stroll down to the water's edge. Also has a tasting room, store, nice gardens and a restaurant. Events such as vintage car shows are sometimes held here. Worth checking out. This place does get very busy in peak season due to large wine tours that always like to stop here.

This is another of our favorite wineries. Only a 5 to 10 minute drive away to enjoy an excellent patio with a lovely glass of wine. They also serve great pizzas cooked on their wood-fired stoves. They also have a 6km hiking trail but afraid to say, we've only ever only got as far as the patio ! Live music on some weekends.

This is a free ferry service which transports you over the Bay to continue your journey on Loyalist Parkway. We also take this route when we are traveling to Kingston or Napanee simply because it's so pretty. During Summer it runs a 15 minutes service and 30 minutes service the rest of the year. Usually runs until around 1 am. Worth a trip just for the views and to take some photographs. And did I mention it's free ? WOW!

We also take this route when we are traveling to Kingston or Napanee simply because it's so pretty. During Summer it runs a 15 minutes service and 30 minutes service the rest of the year. Usually runs until around 1 am. Worth a trip just for the views and to take some photographs. And did I mention it's free ? WOW!

Gets very busy during Summer season and on occasion actually reached capacity and has closed. Go early or later in the day.

Sandbanks Provincial Park

Gets very busy during Summer season and on occasion actually reached capacity and has closed. Go early or later in the day.
Amazing sand dunes with a trail for you to follow. If your legs will let you, climb to the top of the highest dune for the most spectacular view. It took my breath away the first time I reached the top (and that wasn't just the climb it was the sight) You could be in the Mediterranean. Stunning, stunning, stunning! Gets very busy during Summer season.
West Lake
Amazing sand dunes with a trail for you to follow. If your legs will let you, climb to the top of the highest dune for the most spectacular view. It took my breath away the first time I reached the top (and that wasn't just the climb it was the sight) You could be in the Mediterranean. Stunning, stunning, stunning! Gets very busy during Summer season.
Now Wellington Beach is a bit of a hidden gem. It's only a tiny beach but is very pretty and doesn't get as busy as the other beaches. If you are driving through Wellington on Main Street you can find the beach by turning left onto Beach Road. Drive practically on to the beach and park your car right there. Nice for a little stroll or even to sit and enjoy the sand and the views.

Now Wellington Beach is a bit of a hidden gem. It's only a tiny beach but is very pretty and doesn't get as busy as the other beaches. If you are driving through Wellington on Main Street you can find the beach by turning left onto Beach Road. Drive practically on to the beach and park your car right there. Nice for a little stroll or even to sit and enjoy the sand and the views.
