Try their Bhakti Chai--our favorite drink is a dirty chai with this delicious house tea blend, which I believe is organic and sourced from Boulder. Besides delicious drinks, their breakfast burritos are great (chorizo is Emily's favorite; green chile is Matt's). They do sandwiches, take and bake pizza, and have Friday night family-style dinners. Bring your own coffee mug for a great deal on their delicious straight coffees.

My favorite local sushi place! They have great lunch specials, excellent rolls, and friendly staff. Try the salmon mango roll--you won't regret that deliciousness!

Parks & Nature
Don't be fooled by the name! This place is gorgeous for a picnic or bbq (grills on site!)! Non-motorized boats are welcome at this amazingly beautiful reservoir just 15 minutes from our house! Pet-friendly, but no glass containers, and unfortunately, no swimming in the res. because it is a drinking water source. There's several short and easy trails around, near, and on the way to this beautiful spot. The drive is scenic, and there's never many people here.

Great hiking runs near Boulder Creek. Several guests have used this trail to access some more remote fly fishing spots along the water!

Arts & Culture
We have been here several times and are never disappointed. We once saw a fantastic, mesmerizing surrealist exhibit there, and if I remember correctly, it was free. A wonderful places with art and culture to suit all tastes. Check out their website to see what's going on while you're here! Arvada may not be on your list of places to go, but it's on the way back to our house from Denver and Golden. Add this as a pit stop on your day of exploring--it's probably on the way and well worth it!

It's also easy to park downtown and walk here before/after grabbing lunch/dinner.

Amazing food and craft cocktails--try the French 75! This place is great for a date night, and occasionally there are Swingin' Denver events with swing dance lessons, live bands and of course, dancing!
