Coach House Coffee is our No.1 pick in the locality. Open 7days a week from 8am-6pm with Breakfast served from 9am-12pm and Lunch served from 12pm to 5pm. The menu had wide appeal and supports local suppliers. The best time to go is Saturday or Sunday morning, if the weather is good sit outside as the place is a hive of activity with cyclists setting out on their Greenway adventure. We recommend the Eggs & Avocado dish for Breakfast of the Works Burger for Lunch.

We highly recommend hiring a bike and exploring the Waterford Greenway. The Kilmacthomas to Dungarvan 23km stretch is our favourite section and we highly recommend this. If you're up for more, why not complete the Kilmacthomas to Waterford stretch the following day? The Waterford Greenway is a scenic cycle route cutting through the beautiful Waterford countryside.

The Viking Triangle in Waterford City is well worth a visit. Waterford is Ireland's oldest city and home to the oldest port, founded by the invading Vikings. The Viking Triangle is Waterford's cultural quarter which centres around a round tower "Reginald's Tower" where the legendary Strongbow married Aoife. Around the corner sits the House of Waterford Crystal where crystal factory tours can be arranged as well as a visit to the crystal showrooms.

A walk up to the Mahon Falls in the Comeragh Mountains is a must-do if you have the time. This a 2km path walk from the car-parking area to the base of the Mahon Falls. If you're an experienced hiker and feeling a little more adventurous, you can hike up the side of the Waterfall for a majestic view of the Comeraghs. Wear warm clothing as it can be quite cool and breezy at the top of the mountain. If you like seeing sheep roam free, this is the ideal trail for you.
