Parks & Nature

This a very beautiful beach with a couple of local restaurants. This is also where the rockpools are. You can get there either by bus/taxi from Sai Kung and then a 30 min walk downhill, or you can take a boat taxi from Sai Kung Pier, this can be quite expensive however. The Sai Wan boat usually costs about $110 per person. Often people will bus/taxi and walk there, then get the boat back. You can book the boat back when you arrive in Sai Wan, there are two places that sell tickets. If the beach is very busy it is a good idea to book your ticket back to Sai Kung as soon as you arrive to reserve your place. If you intend to walk back you can ask the restaurant to call a taxi for you to meet yo

Easy beach just a 10 min ferry ride from Pak Sai Wan. Great for families, have lifeguard and shop for drinks and snacks. You can also rent an umbrella for shade. Gets very busy on hot Sundays! Take taxi to the Ferry Pier at Pak Sha Wan (10mins) then get either the blue of yellow sampan (water taxi) from the pier. Don't buy a return ticket as you can just buy it the ticket on the sampan when you come back and will not be restricted to which service you use. Tickets are $10 per person.

There is a small beach that's very shallow. It is best to wear beach shoes as sometimes there are things that can cut your feet in the water. There is are a couple of Watersports Centres on the beach where you can hire kayaks, paddle boards, wind surfers etc at very reasonable prices http://www.saishawatersports.com/ www.kayaks.com.hk There is also a Chinese Restaurant and The Beach Bar that are both worth checking out.
