My favourite beach, as it's my local hood. Great for surfing, and there are two rock pools. One on the northern end, called Mc Mahons (about a 5min walk from the beach), and one on the southern end that is super shallow and great for kids or adults!!!! For those who are game, you can swim to Magic Point around the southern side, to visit a grey nurse shark nursery, though it may be disappearing... There is also a wreck of the Malabar ship around there too.

Best Fish and Chips in town. The fish cocktails are my favourite! You can also buy fresh salmon, tuna, kingfish sashimi! Simple and delicious lunch, dinner, snack!!! A must try!

Favourite local Chinese food. If my parents approve, then you know its a great place, as they are pretty fussy! Cheap and cheerful and they're pretty friendly too!!

Cool place, with chalk walls! Make a mean bacon and egg roll and coffee also! There's a wall where you put your name down and your coffee count. It's a great place to rest from your walk/swim around the beach! I love it.

New spot to hang and get drinks, people watch, or even food/brunch during the day time. It's a big place and close to the beach! Win Win!

Parks & Nature
My favourite hiking trail! You can spot whales during whale season, hear birds chirping, ocean roaring against the rocks, and just be out with nature. Stunning views of the water and you can also check it out during sunrise/sunset.
It's a lot less crowded than the Bondi - Coogee trail but offers everything that trail offers in my opinion. I love walking or running here.
Note that it is closed when the rifle range is in action, but I've never had any issues. You can just check before you go.
