A beautiful manor house set in glorious countryside; sit outside on the terrace and drink cocktails and enjoy the views. Contemporary interiors mixed with Cotswold beauty. Spa days available and the swimming pool is perfect on hot, summer days.

Contemporary restaurant in the heart of Cirencester. Based in the Corn Hall. Bob's food is delicious. I can recommend Bob's for breakfast and lunch. Not open during the evening. Sit at the bar and watch Bob work his magic; he work in Bibendum and has brought a touch of the city chic to the Cotswolds.

Sapperton is the most wonderful village and The Bell serves fabulous food. Something a little different. Sit in the garden which is awash with lavender, and sip a rhubarb cocktail or try the best mojito in the Cotswolds....Morrocan lamb served with caramelised vegetables...a foodie heaven! I luv this place. The drive from North Cerney thru Daglingworth village is stunning.

Daylesford is a must go to place. Great place to eat, people watch , do yoga, buy beautiful gifts...something a little different. Lady Bamford has created this little bit of paradise and everything she does is just perfect. If you love the Cotswolds architecture in a contemporary style then you will enjoy your visit. If you want to give Waitrose a miss and buy something for supper, then pop to Daylesford! They make everything in house and everything is organic....or just sit and enjoy the ambience and have a coffee. They have just converted a shepherds hut into an ice cream "truck"...really cute! Also they were extending the outdoor seating area....the pizza's are perfect. As is everything Bamford.

Ive put this under "street market" as quite hard to give a definitive category. Jolly Nice was set up only a few years ago by a very clever, entrepreneurial lady. Hard to describe but I recommend a visit. Pop in for a coffee and drink it in one of the yurts; not the least bit "hippy" but a very chic organised foodie heaven. There is an on site butchers selling local meat/local vegetables and they sell the best icecream this side of Watford Gap! I love the salted caramel icrecream..omg! heaven! Also the freshly made scotch eggs! The owner started this enterprise on a derelict piece of land and I think this idea should be rolled out all over the UK. Such a great idea and we all love it here in the Cotswolds.

It is a locally run cafe with inexpensive food which is cooked on the premises. Good lunches and priced well. The table of cakes which confronts you when you walk into this cafe is just awesome! All homemade and some are gluten free! I love the peanut butter cookies. Sit outside and have a coffee and watch the world go by in the famous Blackjack street in Cirencester. The only street to be in!!

Dolores, the owner of Lola really knows what things suit women. She sells Ingenue dresses which fit beautifully. Lots of interesting clothes and not expensive. Prices range from £20 to £180...Definitely worth checking out.

In Corn Hall next to Made by Bob's (restaurant). Sue Parkinson sells contemporary mid range clothing. Mulberry handbags also. They also sell the best perfume ever......but you need to go in and say "which perfume does Linda like?"".... We all wear it in Cirencester and you can only buy it in a few outlets...I think Harvey Nicks is just one of them.....
