Quiet, romantic place to enjoy good wine with a small meal or cheese plate. Against the Grain (next door) is their beer-based version. Both are intimate, rustic & relaxing.

Crowded and noisy, the narrow streets of Chinatown still fascinate me. Side-by-side with shops catering only to tourists, you'll still find very foreign scenes, with live seafood crawling out of ice-filled displays, mysterious produce, and—deeper inside the neighborhood—shops, parks and restaurants where you'd swear you were in Beijing. Stop at almost any restaurant for a break and mid-afternoon Dim Sum. Yum.
