Gorgeous park with some cafes dotted throughout. The park is right behind the castle grounds. I'd recommend afternoon tea in the Pettigrew tearooms (in the castle walls). Delish!

Visit where Gavin and Stacey was filmed. Do the tour. Crackin'! Or just enjoy a day at the beach. You can even hire a beach hut for the day (search Vale of Glamorgan Council online). The pleasure park has been updated in recent years and there are some nice cafes too. A nicer and smaller beach nearby is called Jackson's Bay.
