Waiotahe Drifts is a quiet, residential beach community overlooking Waiotahe Beach, Whale Island and White Island. There is direct access to the beach out your front door. The neighbourhood is linked by paths and open reserve well away from the main road.

Beautiful day trip from Opotiki with several places to stop and take in the beauty along the way. Waihau Bay is a nice option for lunch or a drink. The bay is a mecca for game fishers, so you might see a decent fish or two come in off one of the boats!
