Gjelina's 5000 square foot emporium of deliciousness! It's 9/10ths of a mile away, so great for a walk or bike ride. Bon Appetit Magazine chose Gjusta as one of it's 10 best new restaurants of the year. Believe it!

Boy are we fortunate that one of the best Italian restaurants in LA ended up on Abbot Kinney Blvd. This is another difficult reservation to secure, but you can always join the line at 5:30 pm for the first seating. It's worth it! Squash blossoms, caccio e pepe, a great selection of wines and cocktails, etc.

Recently reopened under chef Jason Neroni, the new Rose Cafe is fabulous! A great place to meet up with large groups. Indoor, outdoor seating, full bar, great pastries. Sunday brunch. Lots of people!

The new cool place to sit and watch all the carnival that is Venice parade before your eyes. The food is terrific too! our favorites are the breakfast burrito and the avocado corn cakes with an egg on top. So much fun! Right under the Venice street sign in Windward circle.

There's a good meal here for everyone. Choices of sushi, or great entrees from the kitchen. Japanese and California cuisine. Wabi- Sabi has become quite the bar scene, especially after the beach and late at night.

The walk streets--Nowita Place, Marco Place, and Amoroso Place are unique in that they are narrow, beautifully landscaped sidewalks in Venice lined with houses on both sides. They are charming as heck. Check them out!

Another unique and interesting neighborhood to stroll through. ( Especially on your way to Superba Food + Bread). The street between the houses is a beautiful garden path. Tranquil and beautiful and neighborly.
