The Lema Ranch trails – four miles on about 200 acres – are paved and showcase five ponds. Dogs are not allowed and bicycles are only allowed on certain sections of the path. The space is open to the public and owned by The McConnell Foundation, who's mission is helping build better communities through philanthropy.

Lake Redding Park (there is no actual lake) is a great spot for a walk or bike ride. It is the location of the Diestelhorst Bridge. It was completed in 1915 and was the first concrete bridge to span the Sacramento River in Northern Calfornia.

The green fee is $ 12.00 per person for nine holes or $20.00 for 18 holes. Senior rate (62 and older) is $9.00 for 9 holes and $15.00 for 18 holes. The military rate is $10 and is an all-day rate.

Contact Michele at Fun Factory Rentals (https://www.funfactoryrentals.com) for the most amazing snowmobiling experience! The views in the park are fantastic and first-timers are encouraged. The drive to Deer Mountain from Redding is easy as well.

This beach is located within Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort, outside guests can purchase a day pass for $3 per person. I recommend arriving before 10am. The water is beautiful and you have an amazing view of Mt. Shasta. The drive from the cottage is about an hour and 15 minutes.
