This is the best second hand store for cheap and fashionable gems. There are plenty of Crossroads, but this location has the best selection. It's also surrounded by hundreds of other unique and high end clothing stores on Melrose

The Promenade in Santa Monica is fairly iconic, so if you're heading in that direction anyway, you may as well stop here. It's a nice place to stroll and pop in some stores, grab a bite, or see a movie. PARK HERE if you're going to the SM beach or boardwalk, DO NOT PARK on the beach unless you want to sit in traffic forever

If laying on the beach isn't your thing, head inland from Santa Monica Beach about 100ft to Santa Monica Muscle Beach (not the original in Venice Beach). Here you'll find swings, ropes, rings, pull up bars, slack lines, everything you need to stay fit or play around in the sun. It's also right next to the pier, which has restaurants, a ferris wheel, a merry-go-round, and other touristy shops.
