Food Scene

Sweet are old-fashioned and delicious. I recommend the apple crumble. The olive pullapart bread is an excellent choice. And the party pies are a delicious savoury treat.

Seafood and pizza are served from funky shipping containers. The coffee is great and the view is simply splendid. The wine tasting is a bonus but make sure you climb the observation tower before you try the wine!

Parks & Nature

The 10 minute walk to the waterhole is very easy and you can have fun rock skimming when you get there. If you feeling more adventurous it is a lovely 2 hour walk to the gorge.

Lots of native Tasmanian animals to see and discover. It takes about 2 hours to enjoy the walk around Natureworld. It is worthwhile to ring ahead to find out the times of feedings and talks. There is a small train popular with toddlers but you should find out the departure time.

Shopping

You can buy an entire outfit here. Good if you only brought 'beachy' clothes or hiking clothes and then decide on a fancy dinner! The store has some in vogue accessories and some shoes. I love shopping here.

Please be careful not to stand too close to where the water splashes out! If you have time, walk south over the rocks or across the grass and down the path to find a gorgeous pebble beach.
