In light of the corona virus I have taken additional steps to prevent the spread of the virus to myself and to my guests.
The house is large with plenty of shared spaces inside, and out, to allow for social separation. There are three family rooms, two full kitchens, three outside living spaces, two bathrooms, and spa room.
I am disinfecting all guest rooms and shared spaces daily, and there are hand sanitizers in all rooms.
With the escalation of restrictions I have also seen several cancellations, so the likely hood of multiple other guest being here at the same time has declined.
I enjoy having guests and getting to know and meet new people from around the world. I would be happy to spend time with you and offer you a local’s perspective to all there is to do in the area. If you would rather be more private I can give you more space as well. I have a large home with plenty of room to spread out.
Many guests have said that staying here is like being at a private boutique spa. That level of comfort was my goal when I opened my home to Air BnB. Building on that theme, I've just completed a truly beautiful spa room to give you the feel of being at your own intimate resort spa.
I've installed a beautiful 4 person dry sauna in a relaxing room, complete with a professional massage table w/oils, music, and aroma therapy. The room is set up with exercise equipment; adjustable free weights, reclining bench, treadmill, yoga mats, and fresh spa towels.
I’ve also arraigned with a licensed massage therapist, who you can book with directly, to come to my home and provide you a relaxing in home massage in the private spa room at a reasonable cost.
I think you’ll find my home to be the perfect place to retreat and rest after a full day of traveling, skiing or exploring the mountains or lakes. The home is in a great location, and easy to get to off the freeway. It's a straight shot, no turn drive toward the mountains off the I 15 exit 344 at the 12th street exit.
I'm in a quiet neighborhood near the Ogden river, Mt. biking and hiking trails, ski resorts and down town. I'm also the closest Air BnB to the final two SKI BUS stops going to Snow Basin and Powder Mountain. A great spot whether your just passing through or staying awhile.
If you’re here to ski or ride I can help. I have access to discounted ski pass at Powder Mountain. Just talk with me a few days in advance to get it set it up.
I live here alone, and have four bedrooms available for guest booking.
This reservation is for 2 guests in the Vintage Skiing themed bedroom.
If you have additional guests in your group I can accommodate them in another room, if one is open. If not they can stay on a queen size futon in the downstairs family room . Extra guests, after the original two, will only be charged 1/2 the original room rate.
You will have full access to all shared areas; two kitchens, two comfortable living rooms, a large sun room with a big screen TV, spa room, and hot tub. There is also a deck off the sun room that sits alongside a 24’ swimming pool, large enough to swim laps. (Memorial Day thru Labor day).
On the other side of the sun room is a very private fenced patio with a 6-person hot tub. I provide plush Turkish cotton robes and towels for my guests. There’s also a TV tub side so you can watch live TV, Amazon, or Netflix as you enjoy your soak out under the stars.
There is also a third front patio with great views of the mountains, music, propane heater, and a corn hole game. This spot is a favorite of guests to take coffee or breakfast out in the morning, or to relax with a drink at night.
As part of my home security I have cameras at the front door, on the pool and hot tub. If you would like the hot tub camera disabled for privacy just ask. I also have security cameras at the main entrance and main group areas inside.
NEW THIS SEASON!! I have two Electric Bikes and a Mountain Bike guests can use to explore the river parkway at the end of the street or to ride into town. I also have 5 stand up paddle boards, and a two person kayak, with all the gear, for my guests to use at two nearby lakes. All at no additional cost.
In the winter, besides discounted ski passes, I also have snowshoes and fat tire mountain bikes that can be ridden in the snow.
In the winter there are three real wood fireplaces to cozy up next to while you visit, watch TV, or just enjoy a hot drink and read a book. I also have ski/board storage and boot and glove dryers.
High speed WIFI is available along with Cable TV, Netflix, & Amazon TV. There’s also a desk to work at, with a wireless printer.
If you don't want to work, and would rather just relax, this is the place. There’s a gas grill, hammocks, and patio chairs to sit in as you watch the sunset cast an alpin glow across the mountains and a cool mountain breeze that blows down the canyon.
Downstairs guests have access to a brand new full kitchen. Breakfast is also provided upstairs daily, including fresh fruit, breads, bagels, pastries, oatmeal, cold and hot cereal, breakfast bars, pop tarts, waffle maker, yogurt, coffee, cappuccino, espresso, tea, juices & milk. You’ll also have access and use of the kitchen and supplies if desired.
This bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed with a new memory foam mattress . The bed is comfortably wrapped in fresh 1,800 thread count sheets, and genuine “My pillows”, to provide you the best night’s sleep. The bed is also covered with a “Weighted Blanket”, a heavy blanket that study’s have shown can reduce stress and facilitate deep nights sleep .
Each room comes furnished with a granite topped dresser, night stands, luggage stand, full length dressing mirror, mood candles, fresh spring water, chocolates, and an in room flat screen smart TV with cable, Netflix and Amazon TV. For my guests I’ve also provided an Amazon Dot with an enhanced speaker and charging cables for IOS and Android phones. The Dot, with Alexa, allows you to set an alarm, access the internet or play your favorite music.
The room is located across the hall from a large recently remodeled full bathroom with two vessel sinks, and large glass enclosed shower with a rain fall shower head. You'll have fresh towels, and body wash, shampoo and conditioner all from an in-shower dispenser. The bathroom is only shared if there is another guest downstairs, otherwise it's all yours. I have my own bathroom. You also have access to the downstairs bathroom if there is ever a backup at the bathroom.
For privacy, each room can also be secured from inside.
I’ve tried to anticipate your needs and wishes, but if I’ve missed anything please let me know. I hope you’ll find this to be one of the nicest, most thought out, and best appointed Air BnBs, with all the amenities and more, that you look for in a top Air BnB.
