Friendly clean cottage for your holiday needs. It is a small cottage with a studio room with a cooking area and a bathroom. Shower room is located at the sauna house. You’ll love my place because of the nature , the outdoors space, and the location at a quiet neighborhood.

Also there is a corner for a little kitchenette with basics , all for your light meal preparing. Hot water shower is at sauna house next to the main cottage. Traditional Finnish Sauna with the wood-burning stove can also been arranged for a small extra fee. Because the cottage is rather a small it is best suited for a couple or single travelers. Kids are welcomed , but there is no baby cot available. At outdoor space you can enjoy a sunshine at a wooden deck, facing a cold water creek. Note there is no fence , small children must be supervised. You are welcomed to enjoy to the Estonian countryside , to a simple but a comfortable place for your holiday.

Unique romantic villa, the country home of two designers in Lahemaa national park (Northern Estonia), only 60 min drive from Tallinn. Secluded and quiet, but lot's to see and do in the neighbourhood. Beautiful beaches, nature trails in untouched forests, bog lakes for brave swimmers, old fisherman villages, old mansions to admire, different kind of places to eat - everything is in distance of 2-15 km. And if you are lucky, you can even meet some friendly wild animals at the backyard.
The house is tastefully refurbished, mixing Provence style with Estonian peasant and Indian antique furniture. On the first floor there is a large living room with a fireplace, a dinner table for ten and with the access to backyard patio. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, an entry hall and a staircase. On the second floor there are two spacious bedrooms for with large beds and a tiny room next to master bedroom that can accommodate two people if needed. There is also a separate toilet. This house comfortably accommodates 6 people, but it's possible to sleep also on living room couches if really needed.
The area is really rich of things to do and see. For beach lovers there is plenty to discover starting from lively Võsu beach that is very comfortable to visit with kids. Continuing with secluded, less overcrowded sandy beaches like Mustoja and Vainupea (google for pictures!). There are three of finest Estonian old mansions nearby - Sagadi, Palmse, Vihula. They all offer different choices. Sagadi has the forest museum, Palmse has beautiful park and a palm house, Vihula offers luxury accommodation, SPA and swimming pool, concerts and also great food. Those who desire peace and quiet and being with oneself in untouched nature, will be spoiled by different options, too. Lahemaa national park offers some of the most pristine natural landscapes in Estonia. Visitors can explore Jägala waterfall, Viru bog, Oandu beaver trail, Altja fishing village, Käsmu capitain's village and much more. All of those reachable with a bicycle, too. At the summertime you can find also fine places to eat nearby, fine dine restaurant in Vihula, old Estonian tavern in Altja, marina restaurant in Võsu etc. (Mainly closed in the wintertime, tho.) The list could be a lot longer, but most of you did not come here to read. Last but not least - this villa is also a very comfortable basecamp for day trips to Tallinn and further Northern and Eastern Estonia that also offer different gems to admire.

Located at the seaside and surrounded by beautiful greenery, we offer self-catering accommodation in various apartments. The apartments are bright and classically decorated. The picturesque surroundings are perfect for cycling, hiking and water sports. We can offer you either bay view, garden view or street view apartment. Price varies.
Self-serviced apartments in a small fishermen village called Kasmu in Lahemaa National Park, filled with culture, history and surrounded by nature. 75km from the capital Tallinn, by the sea. Perfect for peace and quiet, for nature lovers.
In Lahemaa (Land of Bays), located on the northern coast of Estonia, you will find stony and sandy seashores, picturesque bogs, pine forests, old-growth forests, cliff forests, alvars and rivers that have cut into the limestone cliff. You will also find many geological, historical and architectural monuments. There are many erratic boulders, which were brought over from Finland by continental ice. Plenty of legends and stories are connected to these boulders. The national park, established in 1971, was the first national park in Estonia and indeed anywhere in the former Soviet Union. The sea makes up almost a third of it; two-thirds of the land is covered by forest. There are four large peninsulas in Lahemaa and the northernmost point of continental Estonia – Cape Purekkari – is located on one of them – Pärispea Peninsula. The coastal areas and forests have gone largely unaffected by human activity , as they formed a closed border zone during the Soviet era. You can find what is left of military facilities even now. Lahemaa is one of Europe's most important forest conservation areas, where many large mammals live. South of the national park are the large Kõrvemaa areas covered by mires and forests, which expand the living space of moose, boars, brown bears, lynxes, and foxes even more. You can find out about the lives of beavers on the beaver trail, located in a picturesque valley between the Oandu and Altja Rivers. Among the common birds seen here are the Ural Owl (Strix uralensis) and Black Woodpecker (Dryocopus martius); the Common Crane (Grus grus) comes to feed on the fields around Sagadi in autumn. Natural and cultural heritage are intertwined in Lahemaa Just like 4000 years ago, you can find historical villages on the limestone cliff that runs through Lahemaa. On the cliff, you will also find special plant communities or alvars, which only exist in Estonia and Sweden and where snowdrop anemones bloom in spring. Below the cliff, you can see rare forests where perennial honesty grows. The shoreline and cultural heritage of Lahemaa are intertwined – from here, fishermen went to the islands of Finland to catch fish and seals; the sea was used for friendly trade as well as for the smuggling of salt and spirits. The most famous fishing villages here are the captains' village of Käsmu, the fishermen's village of Altja and the village of spirit smugglers, Viinistu – now the location of an art museum. Lahemaa has many pine forests, and shipbuilding used to be popular here. In olden days, ships made of Lahemaa pine sailed the seven seas. There are also four large historic manor complexes in the area, three of which have been renovated: Palmse, Sagadi and Vihula. Lahemaa National Park is only an hour's drive from Tallinn. The visitor centre is located in Palmse; in Sagadi you can take a look at the forest museum, and in Oandu you can take part in the activities of the nature school. The former resort area Võsu is excellent for beach holidays. Be sure to look into the opportunities of Lahemaa's nature trails! If you want to and have the chance, explore the national park on a bicycle – that way you will find fascinating places you could never access by car.

During your free time you can hire bicycles or rent a boat. We highly reccommend to rent a car from the city. However you can reach our place also by bus Käsmu is a beautiful small coastal village set in the Lahemaa National Park on the north coast of Estonia. It is steeped in maritime history and known in Estonia as the "Captains Village". Käsmu was also used by, and home to, many smugglers of salt and fish in the past century. Between (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) it was home to the Estonian School of Navigation (or Nautical School), which is now replaced by the welcoming and interesting Käsmu Sea Museum. Käsmu will not only appeal to lovers of maritime history but also to those people who enjoy deserted sandy beaches, where swans swim off the coast in boulder-strewn waters and the forest edges right up to the shore. Every August (7.-9.) there is a popular folk music festival in the village. This year is dedicated to Danish Culture. 4.-11.june you may enjoy other beautiful concerts. It's an ideal location for families walking, horse riding, fishing, canoeing, sailing and swimming. You can have a wonderful day out enjoy nature and local history and Käsmu makes an excellent shorter stopping point on a coastal tour.
