Theme Park
“Most probably the most visited theme park in the country for its vast range of rides, Enchanted Kingdom is located in Santa Rosa Laguna, 29 kilometers away from Manila. There are a number of attractions and rides to choose from with its seven themed entertainment zones placed around the 17-hectare estate. It is a must-try especially for families or a group outing for there will always be something for everyone. The park also holds different shows and programs at its event area with a 2,000-seating capacity.”

Point of Interest
“If you are up for a day of adventure, you can go and explore one of the most beautiful conservation parks east of Manila. It is located in Baras, Rizal which is 1.5 hours from Shaw Blvd and guests can travel via private of public transportation (Take Jeepney going to Tanay). Advance bookings can be done with the park rangers who will assess your capacity for hiking and outdoor challenges. Consequently, the park requires 3 days reservation and the minimum number for a group is 7 guests. The trails were expertly curated and the areas are aptly named from local terms like “Silungan, Sapot, Patak, Duyan, Sawa and Bawayak. ”

Museum
“This attraction is located in the dense rainforest of Baras in the province of Rizal and it is one of the places that you should not miss while in Manila. It is a well-protected sanctuary where you will get scenic views and limestone landscape. You will also get to see numerous flora and fauna here and the best way to explore the reserve is to go on a discovery trail which is a 3-4 hours’ hike filled with rope climbing, bridge crossing, sightseeing which will leave you mesmerized!”

“Wawa Dam was built during American colonial era in 1909 as the only source of water supply for the people in the city. Today, it is an abandoned reservoir visited mostly by hikers as the place is in between Mt. Pamitinan and Mt. Binacayan.”

“Think Portugal and you think piri-piri chicken (which, in some Asian countries like Malaysia, means Nando’s). And in Manila, outdoor-grilled; hot-marinated chicken is every bit as popular as sardines, which is now springing up all over the metro. At Eduardo's there’s no pretension: a platter of chicken, salsa-based bedding, various salads, bread and olives set back in a good way. The meat was tender and succulent and of good quality. I find it very affordable, considering the portions of the chicken.”
