Natural Feature
“Regina's gem! Various kilometres of paved path circle the two lakes of Wascana Lake Park. The west side of the park is well-tended, with playgrounds, a pool, restaurants, and more. The east side is more wild, with beautiful nature scenes and fantastic bird watching, especially around the water foul reserve. The University of Regina is located on the lake, as are the science centre, performing arts centre, museum, and provincial legislature.”

“Japanese inspired food. Authentic, delicious and beautifully presented. Sushi, rice bowls, and more. Their “bibimbap” rice bowl is my personal favourite – served in a hot stone bowl - it can even be made gluten-free. This is also a good spot for evening drinks! ”

Bar
“Always a good selection of local beer on tap, and they have a nice patio. Food is overpriced and not that great, so I only go for drinks.”

Restaurant
“Quaint character home converted into a coffee house has a neat cozy feel, healthy fresh local eats, tons of vegetarian options, good coffee and a pretty decent little wine list. My favourite thing about this spot: breakfast bowls, gluten-free coconut cookies, Marakesh stew, and their power salad. ”

“Wascana park is hundreds of acres of beauty right in the heart of Regina. There are lots of walking pathways. You can cross country ski in the winter or take the kids tobogganing. Our legislative grounds, Museum of Natural History, McKenzie Art Gallery, Conexus Art Centre and U of Regina are all within Wascana Park.”

Museum
“This is a great place to learn more about our Saskatchewan history. The exhibits change from time to time , there is a first nations perspective, lots of fossils and the static displays of western prairies are so realistic you could be standing in the midst of the animals. Bird calls add to the atmosphere. The basement has dinosaur displays including fossilized TRex scat. Besides the dinosaur there is an excellent display of pre-ice age large mammals including many that are overlooked in other national history museums.”
