Our beach front condo is available for rental throughout COVID-19 and our outdoor Gulf fronting pool and patio area is open until further notice.
Our units are always carefully disinfected for hygiene purposes between each and every guest. Should you require any additional cleanings during your stay please feel free to call for the services from our housekeeping team.
Please note that as of Friday, March 20 Okaloosa County public beaches have been closed for the health and safety of all residents and visitors. Currently the ban is for 30 days.

We are happy to send you the contacts for beach services should you wish for daily chair and umbrella set up. Will be at guests' cost with rates available monthly, weekly or daily.
There is no telephone line connected to the unit.
There is no guest access to incoming postal services. There is an outgoing mail slot on the Main Floor mailboxes (West side of building)
PET POLICY - No pets permitted due to severe family allergies. We are able to suggest local boarders in the area. Please have your service animal and emotional support animal registered with us (owners) and our Association office on confirmation of your reservation with proper credentials
NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Please contact us if you wish for service during your stay. Guest will be responsible for making payment directly to cleaning company in this case
You will be provided with a starter amount of dishwasher tabs, hand soap, paper towels and toilet paper for your first days of stay. Guests are expected to purchase or bring their own supply of cleaning supplies and toiletries for the duration of their stay.
POOL - SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK, NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY, and CHILDREN UNDER 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ADULT WITHIN THE POOL ENCLOSURE.
a.Children 3 and under are required to wear swimming diapers at the pool area.
b.Rinse off before entering pool.
c.No glass, BOOMBOXES or pets allowed on pool deck or beach.
d.No SMOKING ON POOL DECK OR GRILLING AREA.
e.Follow all rules on posted signs.
PARKING LOT – Numbered spaces are assigned for owners or authorized guests. All vehicles must have a parking pass displayed at all times and available from rental agent or owner. No construction vehicles, trailers, or RV’s are allowed in lot without prior written approval. NO BIKES, SKATEBOARDS, ROLLER BLADING ON PREMISES. ***All unauthorized vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense. ***
VISITOR PARKING – Marked and available along the peripheral of the parking lot.
LUGGAGE CARTS - for owner and guest use only. No contractors or housekeepers. Carts must be returned to first floor next to elevator after use. Please be respectful and not bring carts into the units, NOT FOR CHILDREN TO RIDE ON
LAUNDRY – Located on each floor, a set of 2 washers and 2 dryers are available for owners and authorized tenants/guest’s use. Housekeepers are not permitted use of machines. Washing machines require use of a liquid laundry detergent. Both washer and dryers cost $1.50 to $1.75 by quarters or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express).
TRASH CHUTES - Located on each floor next to Laundry Room. Dispose of trash in plastic bags only. DO NOT LEAVE BAGS OF TRASH FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DISCARD. Dumpsters in north parking lot for all other disposal.
RECYCLING – We regret that the Emerald Isle Condos does not offer recycling services at the present. Guests are welcome to save their recycling and make drop offs to The Landing Park at 131 Brooks Street SE in Fort Walton Beach just 5 minutes drive from the condo. Bins are within the enclosed wooden gate in the parking lot.
TENNIS COURT – Open from 7am to dusk. Must wear appropriate foot attire on court.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests per condominium is limited to for (6) persons.
GRILLS – Provided in the pool deck area. First come basis. Bring your own charcoal, lighter fluid and igniter. We provide the BBQ tools. Please be respectful of use. Dispose of coals when finished, receptacles provided. FIRE OF ANY KIND AND FIREWORKS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. NO OPEN FLAME GRILLS ARE PERMITTED ON PATIOS, BALCONIES, PARKING LOT OR ANY COMMON AREA.
HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given unless:
a.The National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuations in a “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area” and/or
b.A “mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning” area of residence of a vacationing guest.

Surrounded by Santa Rosa Sound, Choctawhatchee Bay and the Gulf of Mexico is breathtaking for visitors of Okaloosa Island. This barrier island between Ft. Walton Beach and Destin is famous for pristine beaches, water sports and awesome family attractions. Come play beach volleyball on sand so clean it squeaks underfoot. Laugh with the sea lions at the world's oldest, continuously operating live marine show. Land a big one from the 1,261-foot-long fishing pier. Find out for yourself why families return here year after year, generation after generation, to build memories in the sand.
The Emerald Isle condominiums - a beautiful place to spend your vacation! Emerald Isle is situated right on the beach, at Okaloosa Island, just over the bridge from Destin. The views of the Gulf are beautiful, and the sparkling emerald green water is only steps away from this complex. Western view is of the Destin Sound, a part of the Intercoastal Waterway, overlooking yachts and fishing craft, and beach homes. Relax at the large rectangular pool – as close to the Gulf as you can get. Also, located in the pool area are tables with umbrellas, and large grills to cook that juicy steak for dinner. If you want to eat out, Emerald Isle is located near an array of dining, entertainment, shopping and recreation options. Just a short drive east to the busy Destin Harbor nightlife. Visit the Gulfarium, a marine adventure park, with dolphin and sea lion shows — plus lots of educational activities — just around the corner from Emerald Isle.
There is something for every one in all seasons no matter where your interests lie.
We chose to live on Okaloosa Island because it is much less commercial and the beaches less saturated but only minutes drive from all the fleeting action that all the areas of Destin and Fort Walton Beach offer.
You may on occasion catch dolphins swimming close to shore - seen from our balcony. The greatest thing ever!
A 5 minute walk from the condo brings you to the nearest Tom Thumb convenience store. They will have everything that you need to start you off including ATM/Cash machine, fresh fruit, coffee, frozen foods, dairy, frozen and dry snacks, selection of beer, wine & liquor, toiletries, baby items/food, beach items, fishing tackle & bait, cigarettes, lottery tickets, ice etc.
July 4th Fireworks on the Bay seen right from your front entrance. Labour Day Fireworks at the Okaloosa Pier can be seen from the beach in front of your unit - Exciting!
