Shopping Mall
“Think Ben Thanh Market is the only biggest wholesale market in Saigon? THINK AGAIN! This is Binh Tay Market, older and even bigger than Ben Thanh Market, located in the heart of Chinatown. A small secret: "The goods here are SUPER CHEAP!!!"”

“Binh Tay Market, constructed by the French in the 1880s, is located in the centre of Vietnam’s largest Chinatown district. Unlike Ben Thanh Market in District 1, this market mainly serves the local population with its extensive range of fresh fruits, vegetables, poultry, meat and seafood from regions across Vietnam. Also known as Cholon Chinatown Market, Binh Tay Market occupies a two-storey building along Thap Moui Street. Travellers can also find an assortment of handicrafts, lacquerware, and textiles that are sold in bulk, though goods are not varied compared to other (more touristy) markets in downtown Hanoi. Along with the interesting historical and cultural aspect of Cholon, Binh Tay Market is great for experiencing the local lifestyle and sampling unique Vietnamese-Chinese delicacies.”

Church
“The Church where President Ngo Dinh Diem and his brother Ngo Dinh Nhu had prayed before he was captured to send out to Vietnam. But due to politics, they were killed during the road to the airport, and their dead bodies were found in the combat car... There is a small door remains open from morning to evening. Just pop-in and you will see the peaceful-ever only place in Saigon.”

“Chợ Lớn (About this soundlisten, Chinese:堤岸), usually Anglicized as "Cholon" in English sources, is a quarter of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It lies on the west bank of the Saigon River, having Bình Tây Market as its central market. Chợ Lớn consists of the western half of District 5 as well as several adjoining neighborhoods in District 6 and District 11. The quarter has long been inhabited by Chinese people, and is considered the largest Chinatown in the world by area. The Vietnamese name Chợ Lớn literally means "big" (lớn) "market" (chợ). The Chinese name (and original name) is 堤岸 (pronounced Tai-Ngon in Cantonese and Dī'àn in Mandarin,[1][2] which means "embankment" (French: quais). The Vietnamese reading of the Chinese name is Đê Ngạn, but this is rarely used. Vietnamese speakers exclusively use the name Chợ Lớn, while Chinese speakers (both inside Vietnam and in China) are the only users of the original Chinese name.”

“Biggest market in the city, Cho Binh Tay (or Cho Lon) is located in the China town. At here you can buy a lot of cheap stuff at wholesale prices. One of my guests got a free English-speaking tour at there from a local lady, totally random!”

“The best place to have fresh-made noodle right at the restaurant. They make your noodle right in front and you can watch it! There are so many noodle and sui cao restaurants on the same street, but I think this is the best place!”
