There is access down to the lake with a kayak and a large games room with Pool Table, Dartsboard & Bar. Alton Towers is just 15miles away.

This Airbnb is located within the rural village of Rushton Spencer with stunning countryside views. It’s proximity to Rudyard Lake, the Roaches and Tittesworth Reservoir make it an ideal place for cyclists, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. Although the Airbnb is part of our family home, it is a separate downstairs apartment with its own entrance. There is space for a car on our driveway. There are 2 local pubs a short walk away. Congleton, Macclesfield and Leek are all short drives away.

Waters Edge

Looking for a relaxing break, or need a place to stay for a wedding, this is the perfect getaway set in the stunning Cheshire countryside. Set within 16acres of grassland, with a great view out over the pond, Waters Edge has plenty of wildlife to spot. There is a lovely walk around the local sand quarry with a stop off at the Waggon & Horses and if you fancy something longer you can head up to the cloud or the roaches. You are a two minute drive to Sandhole Oak Barn and The Plough Inn.

Roachside Cottage is situated in the beautiful Roaches Estate, a former private estate and grouse moor, now owned by the Peak District and cared for by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. Choose from a holiday for a girly break with pamper treatments or a romantic escape for two. Whatever you do, your woodland surroundings will work their quiet magic on you.

Beautiful secluded romantic lake house retreat

Located right on the water's edge of Rudyard Lake in a conservation area of the Staffordshire Moorlands, this bespoke boathouse conversion is an ideal romantic break for 2 in a very beautiful, quiet setting surrounded by woodland with perfect views up and down the lake. Although we can accommodate 4 in total, Inglenook boathouse is most suited for couples. The sofa bed is comfortable for up to two children but not suitable for two adults.
