Nestled in the Southwest Hills of Portland this lovely apartment provides a sanctuary away from the bustle of the city, yet is minutes from all that downtown Portland has to offer! 900 sq. ft., 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment taking up the entire first floor of a three floor home and has a completely private garden entrance. Furnished with mix modern furniture and classic modern appointments. Art, all original, includes paintings, photographs, sculptures, and folk art collected from around the world. Flat screen Smart TV with surround sound, cable TV, and access to Netflix and other streaming platforms as well as Pandora. Wi-Fi available throughout apartment. Living room includes wood burning fireplace and desk/dining table. Bedrooms connected by a wide passageway with sliding doors making each space a private bedroom room, or if left open, a sitting room off the master bedroom . Queen sized bed in master, and a full sized futon couch with an innerspring mattress in the second bedroom. Bathroom newly remodeled, double sinks and a wonderful large shower with two shower heads. All linens and bedding new. There is large deck off the living room with SW exposure that x over looks a private wooded area perfect for relaxing or dining. (Bird watchers will have a field day…binoculars and guide book for your enjoyment!) BBQ available on owner’s deck above. Fully equipped kitchen includes 4 burner cook top, Breville smart oven, coffee maker, mini refrigerator and all incidentals to “dine in.” Residential neighborhood half mile from Hillsdale Village…a charming collection of merchants including a bakery, 7 restaurants, Starbucks, grocery, banking and more! 4 miles to the Portland City Center, 2 miles to OHSU hospital/medical campus, 3.5 miles to Portland State, half mile to nearest bus stop. Apt has off street parking for 2 vehicles.

I have eliminated my cleaning fee for 1-2 night stays because I understand the frustration of so many fees, and short stays tend to need less cleaning time. The Studio is perched in the southwest hills of Portland with an amazing view of Mt. Hood and the valley below. It requires a walk up 43 stairs to access but is worth every step. The Studio was built as a workspace for a local artist and provides an amazing view of Mt. Hood. Since converted to an escape from the normal urban confines of Portland. Easy access to downtown and walking distance to OHSU and the Veterans Hospital, it provides escape and accessibility. Did we mention the sunrise view!
