The Hibiscus room is part of our 1 acre homestead, planted with over 20 varieties of fruit trees, flowers and kitchen gardens. It is a private, screened in simple jungle cabin, close to the open air shared kitchen, bath house and driveway. We are located less then a 20 minute drive from 3 farmers markets, volcanic hot springs, daily yoga classes, weekly dances, many massage therapists, ocean entry of the current lava flow, excellent snorkeling, swimming, hiking, surfing and the full service town of Pahoa.

At this time our property does not have an address that GPS can find, as well as no cell service in the area, so please copy down directions before you lose service and if at all possible arrive during daylight hours!
Check in is between 4pm and 7pm. We are happy to welcome you into our family homestead. We are a health conscious, sober household and ask you to be respectful in our home. One of the wonderful things about this property is the quiet, peaceful, restful energy of our home, and so we hope that you enjoy and appreciate this. Our water all comes from the rain and is kept in storage and so we only drink the filtered water (not the tap). Please be electricity conscious; we have plenty of power, we just need to be more aware because we are a 100% solar powered home. We do often turn the internet off at night (10pm-6am) but if you need it during those hours that's fine too. Also no food storage in the cabin prevents animals from being attracted to come in (there is plenty of food storage in the kitchen). Relax and enjoy island life.
