My husband and I visited this sweet little cabin for our anniversary and we had a great time exploring the Smoky Mountains while staying in a cozy little cabin in the woods. The cabin is in a resort-like community with other cabins of various sizes around the area. While the other cabins are close, they don't feel close because the wooded area around each cabin makes it feel secluded. The space in the cabin was perfect for the two of us and our dog. We used the outdoor space on the patio a lot for eating - we ate breakfast and dinner outside each day. We also really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and it felt especially good after a long drive there and after long, sometimes rainy, hikes through the mountains. We used the grill daily. The office staff were very helpful (the office is located about a mile away). We were able to exchange our towels and drop off our trash daily at the office. They were also really helpful with recommendations or where to find information they weren't sure about. There is a pool on the property but we did not use it - it is almost directly across from the front of this cabin. The kitchen is a little outdated, but everything works very well and we had everything we needed for the most part. The photos are accurate. There is a full grocery store about a mile away, so we were able to easily buy food when we got there for the entire stay. The hosts were really good at communicating quickly and they even allowed us to add on our dog at the last minute, which we really appreciated. Overall we really had a great time on our visit and this cabin was a perfect match for what we needed during our stay.
