Thank you for the thorough review. I have instructed the cleaning crew who supply the linens to be more detailed in the inspection process of the linens before placing them in my condo. There is a toaster, it’s located in the cabinet to the right of the stove. I do apologize that you weren’t able to find it, but I did confirm that it is still there. I appreciate the recommendation of a hair dryer for the condo. It used to have one but apparently, a prior guest must have accidentally taken it home. I purchased another one today for future guests. Now to address the only real issue as you say with the flying insects that took residence on the balcony. I am extremely sorry, but I want you to know that there is absolutely nothing that I nor any other condo, hotel, or house can do with an open-air balcony on the ocean, to eliminate the situation that you experienced during your two day stay. Those insects are called aquatic midges or blind mosquitos. They only show up during a certain time of the year which is typically only for one week or two. It doesn’t happen every year but unfortunately with the heavy rain and the temperatures reaching the 80’s for the first time this year it happened. The problem that you encountered, every other open-air balcony in St. Augustine along with Jacksonville encountered as well. I appreciate your recommendations of screening my balcony in, but I prefer the unobstructed view of the ocean. Once again thank you for the review.
