Modern, off-grid, eco-friendly cabins on the beautiful Bras d 'Or Lakes UNESCO Biosphere Reserve

Just steps away from the beach- beautiful for swimming, with unobstructed views of the lake from inside each cabin. Incredible sunrise and sunset views.

Each cabin features an open concept design, including a fully stocked kitchen, sleeping area, and bathroom.

Stedet
SLEEPING AREA: the cabin features 1 comfortable Queen sized bed in an open concept design. Egyptian cotton linens, pillows, and duvets.

KITCHEN: Butcher block countertop, black corence granite sink, 2 burner propane cooktop, sink, and mini-fridge. This cabin features white cabinets and with black pulls. Wild Rose features pink and rose themed details. For our coffee and tea lovers- we have a stovetop kettle, and french press or pour-over coffee makers in each cabin. Our cabinets are stocked with pots and pans, cookware, dishes, and cutlery. Olive oil, salt, pepper, and basic spices are provided. There is also an outdoor BBQ on each front deck for our guests to use. Small dining table with 2 chairs.

BATHROOM: cabin features a full bathroom with a large tiled stand up shower and black fixtures. Towels are provided. Help us with our commitment to being environmentally friendly by using the provided hooks to hang up your towels to dry between uses.

BEACH: You will enjoy being just steps away from the shore of beautiful Bras d'Or Lake as well as stunning views from inside the cabin. If you forget to bring your own beach towels- please use our provided colored beach towels, and NOT the white bath towels. Water shoes are recommended if you have them. Guests are welcome to bring their own water toys, fishing rods, inflatables, etc. You will love swimming in the beautiful Bras d'Or Lakes!

Hey there! My husband Devon and I were both born and raised on beautiful Cape Breton Island. We've lived in other cities, but the truth is- there is something truly magical about Cape Breton Island, and we're so happy to have roots down here as we raise our son. There is nowhere else I would rather call "home".

Fun fact- we are High School Sweethearts and we love to travel, explore, and go on adventures with our 1 sweet little boy and pup, Maddie! The furthest we've traveled (so far) was Thailand- we told ourselves that after that flight, we could handle anything!

My husband and I designed this apartment together and even completed many of the renovations ourselves- including the backsplash! We've created a comfortable space that feels inviting, welcoming, and relaxing.

We've always envisioned sharing this special place with others- which led to the launch of this Airbnb! We're passionate about all of the magnificent things our beautiful island has to offer, and we're more than happy to help our guests experience that same sense of Cape Breton magic and hospitality.
