Ground floor access to come and go easily. Perfect for a long stay or quick overnight.

We’ve had this apartment on Airbnb since July 2015 and renovated it twice. First it was just one room, when we used to live here, now it is a whole apartment. (We’ve moved upstairs, so are usually just a minute away if you need anything.)

We’ve had over two hundred of reviews – proud to offer a great value space, that really stands out in Ballarat for its comfort and convenience. What we hear most is that this apartment is a perfect central base to explore Ballarat from.

We are literally one minute away from the best cafes and shops in town, just off the main street in Ballarat (Sturt Street). Everything including Her Majesty's Theatre, the Regent Theatre, the Art Gallery, the railway station is all within easy walking distance. We have off-street parking available for you to use, Sovereign Hill is just a short drive from here.

I grew up in 7 cities (Melbourne, Houston, Tokyo, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Madrid) and don’t really know east from west.

I'm an architect that is passionate about designing places for and with people. After running our own architectural business for 6+ years, I now work in local government, and spend my time between Melbourne and Ballarat (backwards and forwards on the VLine train!).

I love yoga, cooking & baking, gardening, knitting, swimming and watching tennis (especially the Australian Open).

I live with my partner Ammon, who is also an architect, teacher and writer, and our little one who is in kinder. We love living in central Ballarat with the freedom to walk to practically everything in just a few minutes!

We love travelling to new places and hosting people from all over the world, and sharing our experiences - we look forward to meeting you!
