The house is a 1925 3-story house with living room areas and a kitchen downstairs and several bedrooms. The room itself is on the north side of the house and has two big windows. It is a small space of about 10 X 12 ft. with a private bathroom (with shower) that is almost as large. The space contains a single bed, a large closet and an end table with lamp.

The house is in Birmingham, Alabama (USA) within walking distance of UAB, the Medical School (probably a 30-minute walk), as well as Five Points South (a 15-minute walk) and Downtown (a 15-minute walk to Five Points). We are within 5 or 10 minutes by car of Railroad Park and the Regions Field baseball stadium. Dreamland Barbecue is about 4 blocks away, and you can walk to Five Points South for Jim 'N Nicks Barbecue and a number of other places to eat - such as The Pancake House, the Golden Temple (vegetarian lunches and smoothies), Surin West (Thai food and Sushi), Waffle House, New China Town restaurant - and more.
