Tilgang for gjester
I provide towels, bed linen, soap, shampoo, toilet roll, use of a hairdryer and iron and ironing board, washing machine and dryer. A travel cot is available for families with small children, plus a chest full of toys, games and childrens' books, and a small doll's house. There is also a large library of old videos and an old TV with video player to play them on, (plus a more modern TV and DVD in the room). There is a kettle in the room with real coffee, a selection of teas, biscuits, and a drawerful of useful things: reading glasses, local maps and information, scissors, sewing kit, bible, lemsip etc. The kitchen and everything in it is available for guests to use, including herbs and spices and fresh herbs from the garden. The whole of the downstairs of the house, ie dining room, kitchen, bathroom (if a bath is needed as well as the shower in the room) is open to guests but my own quarters, upstairs, are off limits to guests unless invited up! The garden, with a table and chairs, summerhouse and hammock are also available for guests to use, as is my bike.
Interaksjon med Gjester
I am more than happy to sit and socialise with my guests if they wish, at the very least to tell them what is going on around town, where to go and how to get there. Any more than that would obviously depend on the degree of connection.
Andre ting å merke seg
The room has its own separate entrance off the street, with it's own porch area with hooks for coats etc. Unfortunately there is no parking, but you get a free hour parking right opposite the house and there is a car park nearby.
I do not allow smoking in the actual room but I do allow it elsewhere in the downstairs areas and, of course, in the garden. There are a few house rules that I will explain on arrival eg. a guide to the tricky garden door etc. Obviously, I expect my guests to behave well!
