This cosy wee kiwi cottage is nestled in a quiet secluded valley away from all the hustle and bustle of the busy modern life. One minute walk to our local Pohara beach, tennis courts etc. Swimming beaches, rock climbing walls, fishing, diving and the Able Tasman NP are very close. Cafes, store and bars are at Pohara. The Takaka township is only 10 minutes drive for all your other shopping. The Golden Bay region is loaded with endless things to do and places to explore and connect with nature.

Stedet
Here are a few reasons why the organic cottage is a great place to stay.
You will be snug in our cottage which is well insulated throughout with some double glazed windows and wool insulation all round.
Plenty of wood for the fire (not usually lit in summer here but your welcome). We have a selection of organic fruit trees to pick from to add to your breakfasts, there is plenty of organic greens and veges in the garden to add to your meals.
In the back corner of the poroperty above the limestone rocks is an ancient Northern Rata tree which attracts Tui, Kereru and plenty of other bird life which will be music to your ears in the mornings.
Im am a Zenthai Shiatsu practitioner so there may be an opportunity to book a bodywork session with me.
For the more adventureous there is a fire bath on the bamboo grove that has water to it for star lit night gazing.... just a great place we call home.
