Hoxne Post Office is in the middle of the beautiful village of Hoxne just south of the river Waveney nestling in the rolling hills of rural suffolk. It is opposite the tranquil 15th century village pub, The Swan. The Hoxne Hoard, the largest hoard of Roman coins in northern Europe, was found here in 1992. Edmund, King of England was killed here by Vikings in 870 and the Hoxnian period is named after the village. Rooms can be rented individually. They have separate listings.
