A ten minute walk will take you to the sandy expanse of Red Wharf Bay, with easy access to the Anglesey Coastal Path. Whether you are looking for a family beach holiday with pleasant walks or a more adventurous mountain climbing week, Pentraeth is the ideal location. Only 10 minuets to the A55 junction 8, 15 to the city of Bangor, 30 to Snowdon and 30 to Holyhead giving access to day trips to Dublin.

The kitchen is equipped with all you need to cater for yourselves with a dining table & chairs, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, washing machine. There is also a heated conservatory to relax in and enclosed garden.

The village of Pentraeth has 2 public houses which serve excellent food, one with an all day carvery, a Chinese takeaway and Texaco garage with a large Spar shop, with a good selection of "free-from" foods, that also has a Subway outlet. There is a sandwich bar and hair salon, in addition to supermarket and fast food delivery options.

A five minute drive takes you to the coastal town of Benllech, where you will find a large sandy beach, supermarkets, chip shops, horse riding, arcade, family pubs with entertainment and a golf course, which has foot golf.

At the town of Beaumaris, about 15 minutes in a car, there is something for everyone, with its varied architecture, historic castle, pier, views down the coast and across to the mountains of Snowdonia. There a several places to eat out, from cafes to fine dining.

The town of Menai Bridge, along with its historic bridge, has an array of characterful pubs, wine bars, and restaurants. Here you can find Rib Rides and canoeing. Nearby you can find the National Trust property Plas Newydd, there is also a local climbing wall.

Back over the bridge on the main land and only half an hours drive you can find the Snowdonia National Park, with walking, climbing and train rides up the highest peak in England and Wales, Mount Snowdon. The Welsh Highland Railway, historic Caernarfon Castle and the world famous Zip World are all with in easy reach.

The house is on the edge of a small private estate just 5 minuets walk to the local shops and pubs. 10 minuets to the coast. On a main bus route that will take you around the island or into Bangor.
