Regarding her complains:
1. LOCATION: The strong point of the villa, and the main benefits is the location of the house. If you were to read through the 36 other reviews made the last 6 months you would see that Sarah is the first to complain, all our guests have always put forward how convenient it is. Sarah was made aware of the location prior to her booking.
2.. BEACH ACCESS, it is not a 5min walk. We are 150m away from the beach it’s a truly 3 minutes walk from the house and it is extremely rare to have this opportunity in Seminyak. We are baffled by her comment of this being a public beach? All beaches in bali are public.
3. EARLY CHECK IN. Our place was booked before Sarah and right after. The check in is at 3pm and we were unable to fulfill either her early check in (she requested a 1/2 day early arrival) which we explained at the first message. Same thing for the late checkout. We always accept these requests when possible, many of the other reviews talk about how flexible of a host we are and how helpful we aim to be.
4.. Regarding the DRIVER, we offer the airport pick and use a range of drivers depending on their availabilities. None of them are employed by us, they are freelancers. Sarah chose to continue to book him, although being unhappy from the get go. The easiest thing to do in bali is to get a driver, next door to the house there is a company offering their services. We’re surprised she continued to work with him and we are in no way responsible for that decision.
At no point during her stay did Sarah make us feel as though she was unhappy. She always claimed everything was perfect.
CONCLUSION: We are unable to satisfy everyone though we try to very hard. Perhaps this review reflects Sarah’s unhappiness at us not being able to accommodate her with 2 extra half days at no cost, only reason that happened was due to previous bookings.
We couldn’t kick out our guests to satisfy Sarah!
