Looking for a big place on the lake to enjoy with your friends and family? Our place has 2,000 sf, four bedrooms, 1.5 baths... and 165' of waterfront. Beds for 10 people but plenty of space for more...

Great, rustic camp (all but boat/sun room built in 1910) includes fieldstone fireplace, large sun room on the water, plenty of land for privacy, great swimming, fishing and sunsets. Rental also includes the use of watercraft - rowboat, canoe, two kayaks, paddle board, boogie boards... more rocky than sandy so we also have an assortment of water shoes for those who would prefer to use them. Great place to relax, have fun or both!

First floor is all on one level making it easy access for those who have trouble walking (but fairly narrow doorways make moving in a wheelchair challenging). Not even one step up to enter. Waterline would require stairs down or a ginger walk down the boat ramp.

Upstairs is a converted attic with drop down stairs and has two rooms (no doors on rooms) with new flooring and a total of three beds per room.

While it is a camp and still needs a couple finishing touches (trim, ceiling in hall and could use new windows), it's a great place that has been remodeled a good bit already (we bought it in December) with new floors in most rooms, some new ceilings, updated furniture, updated bathroom, paint, new roof, etc.

Fire pits/seating area and older concrete patio outside but no deck. On a dirt road wide enough for one car with cow/horse pasture across the street.

NOTE: Fully heated and insulated. Furnace being installed 10/22, new well, and new windows being installed week of 11/13.

About 30 minutes to Burlington, 90 minutes from Montreal, close to lots of Vermont parks (including Burton Island just a row or paddle away) as well as 15 minutes from St Albans shopping.

Assuming you've made it through all this verbiage, we also offer discounts and would send a special offer for 3-6 nights. Feel free to inquire.

Tilgang for gjester

Wifi available; boat ramp on site for the launching of your own watercraft; plenty of parking; gas grill; plenty of chairs for outside and two fire pits for smores or maybe a song or two...

Great place for kids to have fun but there is a retaining wall 4-5' high where the water meets the land that would be a place to take extra precaution.

Awesome views of the lake. Really enjoyed waking up, having a cup of coffee, and reading by the shoreline. A good place for groups, as well. Should definitely go with the expectation of it being a cabin-in-the-woods, because that's what it is, and what makes it cool.

Where to begin - this was an adorable house with a cozy cabin-feel, with a fabulous location right on lake Champlain! The space is perfect for a group getaway. We ate breakfast every morning in the sun room, right on top of the lake. The rest of the day was spent outside by the lake - mostly on the fun water crafts. The canoe is in excellent condition. There is a nice grill so meals were easy. At night you can start up 1 of 2 fire pits - great for hanging and relaxing. Location is perfect - private so we had no issue with playing our music or feeling like we were too loud. Secluded enough that it's peaceful and offers amazing star gazing at night. Close enough / reachable that you can easily get to Burlington (about ~30 mins). We did a day in Burlington which was perfect for getting best of both worlds (nature and city). I can't say enough great things about Sean! He was so responsive and helpful - with any question I had, but he also was very proactive in proving me with any updates about the place in the weeks leading up to my stay. Great customer service; our whole group felt like we were taken care of and Sean went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed to have the most comfortable and relaxing stay. I.e. He ensured there was plenty of propane for the grill, and was very accommodating when we had to unexpectedly update our dates/times. I highly recommend this booking. My only regret is next time we will definitely stay longer than a weekend :)

Literally right on the lake. Can hear the waves lapping on the shoreline! Great views from the "lake room" is a very large family room with windows on 3 sides with lake views. Quiet, secluded location at end of gravel road. Nice neighbors. Fire pit for bonfires and s'mores! 2 downstairs bedrooms have 1 bed each to sleep 4. Upstairs has pull down attic stairs and sleeps 6 more - appropriate for a teenage escape from the adults. Takes about 30 min to drive to Burlington for restaurants and walk along the lake promenade. St Albans is 10 min away with a quaint downtown with a few good restaurants. Can also do day trips across the border to Canada to places like Montreal for large city or Sutton for small village - great pastry shop and a vineyard that offers wine tasting. Understand that it is a bit rustic like camps can be. Until outdoor furniture is replaced suggest bringing those collapseable chairs to enjoy the warm sunshine in the morning on the pasture side (cows and horses included) and the warm afternoons and sunsets on the lake side. Boats are available for kayaking and there is a canoe too! Last, but not least, the owners are super friendly and very responsive to any questions you may have before and during your stay. Hope this helps and enjoy your stay.
