This modern adobe house is between Espanola and Chimayo. It is a 35 minute drive to Santa Fe and about 50 minutes to Taos. The downstairs adobe walls are mud- plastered. There is a large kitchen and plenty of space. There is an acequia flowing along one side of the property. I love gardening and especially growing Blue Corn and so I call it Blue Corn House. There is a king size bed upstairs
I am a farmer and community builder as well as a construction contractor and handyman. I have lived in New Mexico since 1972 and my three children were born here. Three of my seven grandchildren live in Chimayo. I am dedicated to growing Blue Corn. I worked many years for Juan Hamilton and Georgia O'Keeffe and learned about adobe and mud plastering from them.
